  • Chung Jung One Hot/Red Pepper Paste
  • cooking wine
  • olive oil
  • honey
  • minced garlic
  • minced scallion
  • tomato
  • 2 Tbsp

  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 2 ea
  • Preparation
    1. Slightly slit prawns in half and wash in lukewarm water.
    2. Place prawns in an oven pan with olive oil and top them with thinly sliced onions and scallions. Bake in oven.
    3. Parboil tomatoes in hot water and remove seeds and skins. Finely chop.
    4. Mix all hot pepper paste salsa ingredients and add tomatoes from step 3.
    5. Remove onions and scallions from baked prawns from step 2 and coat with salsa sauce from step 4. Heat again in oven before serving.

    may be pan broiled over a layer of cooking foil instead of baking in oven
